Hi, this car is kicking everyone s ass.. 92 lexus sc400. 128k. Super publicize car that I am ready to drive off a cliff. had a idle surge problem that I researched online and did tests (per the manual) on tps, iac and maf and cleaned the TB. After a pain 2-3 stand-in used IAC s, I took it to the master tech at lexus. He said it was the IAC valve. He tried my used ones.. and finally a rebuilt one. still had issues. help to the dealer.. this epoch he says, it needs a ECU. I did a lot of research on them, and found that its a common difficulty in the manner of this car.. bought a used one.. more trouble. had the native one rebuilt by a specialist.. and that s where I am at now.. Put it in tonight and the car idles at 2k rpm. Does the TPS habit to be re-adjusted? The master tech did every sorts of diagnostics on every aligned parts (tps, maf, iac). $100-200 every epoch I acknowledge it get the dealer for diagnostics.. on going problems are essentially addendum up. I m undecided to adjoin the tps if he had it dialed. Any insight? Thanks in advance. Jason

I bought it in July, drove it home from LA (to Utah), and the problems started hastily after I got it home.Any extra urge on you can come up with the money for is appreciated. I don't know what else to reach but assume it incite to the dealer. I know I've got the shop foreman operating on it at the dealer, but I still character its pushed to the back up as its archaic and everyone loses in this situation.

I don't have any check engine lights unless I unplug the MAF sensor. bearing in mind the MAF is plugged in then the car will stall unless I put my foot on the accelerator. There is after that an intermittent popping strong coming at idle.
