I have a 2004 ES330 in imitation of a hestitation problem. It is fine from a full end but once I go around turns on onto highway ramps, in the manner of I pain the accellarator (sp?) it hesitates for 2 seconds since reving up. I ve taken it to a mechanic and he says it is normal. I have an 2003 Avalon afterward the same engine and it jumps off the begin and has no hesitation. Mechanic s Assistant: Will the headlights face on? Is the battery thoroughly charged? With or without headlights on. Relatively extra battery. Mechanic s Assistant: What is the model of your 04 Lexus? ES330 Mechanic s Assistant: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried hence far? I ve cleaned the MAF sensor. Checked for friends in the intake. like I put my Turbo OBDII app on, whatever seems good except that the TPS stays constant in the region of 30%. This is a drive-by-wire model therefore it has not throttle cable or normal TPS. I acknowledge the TPS is integrated once the throttle controller/motor. Mechanic s Assistant: all else you desire the mechanic to know before I attach you? No, I guess that is it.
.
I bought it in July, drove it house from LA (to Utah), and the problems started gruffly after I got it home.Any other back up you can allow is appreciated. I don't know what else to accomplish but put up with it put up to to the dealer. I know I've got the shop foreman involved upon it at the dealer, but I nevertheless tone its pushed to the assist as its archaic and everyone loses in this situation.
Hello the TPS does have an effect upon switching the car into idle mode as a result I'd recommend to make sure the throttle plate is 100% closed and not slightly stuck when carbon. and then acclimatize the TPS suitably that the IDL fix is continuous to the E2 attach similar to the throttle is closed, and gain access to circuit following the throttle is just cracked. Don't worry not quite any voltages, the IDL gate is the in fact important one.
