Hi, this car is kicking everyone s ass.. 92 lexus sc400. 128k. Super publicize car that I am ready to steer off a cliff. had a idle surge burden that I researched online and did tests (per the manual) upon tps, iac and maf and cleaned the TB. After exasperating 2-3 interchange used IAC s, I took it to the master tech at lexus. He said it was the IAC valve. He tried my used ones.. and finally a rebuilt one. yet had issues. urge on to the dealer.. this mature he says, it needs a ECU. I did a lot of research on them, and found that its a common pain taking into account this car.. bought a used one.. more trouble. had the native one rebuilt by a specialist.. and that s where I am at now.. Put it in tonight and the car idles at 2k rpm. Does the TPS obsession to be re-adjusted? The master tech did every sorts of diagnostics upon every similar parts (tps, maf, iac). $100-200 all era I assume it pull off the dealer for diagnostics.. upon going problems are in reality tally up. I m hesitant to lie alongside the tps if he had it dialed. Any insight? Thanks in advance. Jason

I'm 1500 too high.. or more. It's boggling to me how this suffering has morphed into various idle problems and has everyone perplexed.. or hence it seems. I've been dealing in the same way as this past July.. makes me appreciate my 240z 10 become old more.My dad owns an sc400 and its been in reality good to him.. I'm having a hard times not being cutting later this purchase. I do vibes gone its a fine car though. Motor sounds attractive and is super mild afterward executive right.

have you looked into throttle body coking and/or combustion chamber/valve carbon buildup? are you happening to date upon all maintenance; spark plugs fuel filter pcv vlave etc? have you performed a visual inspection and listened to engine as it warms going on and is warmed up? oftentimes in engine sham many factors may cause the similar symptom(s)
