Hi, this car is kicking everyone s ass.. 92 lexus sc400. 128k. Super push car that I am ready to steer off a cliff. had a idle surge burden that I researched online and did tests (per the manual) upon tps, iac and maf and cleaned the TB. After aggravating 2-3 interchange used IAC s, I took it to the master tech at lexus. He said it was the IAC valve. He tried my used ones.. and finally a rebuilt one. yet had issues. encourage to the dealer.. this era he says, it needs a ECU. I did a lot of research upon them, and found that its a common misfortune like this car.. bought a used one.. more trouble. had the indigenous one rebuilt by a specialist.. and that s where I am at now.. Put it in tonight and the car idles at 2k rpm. Does the TPS dependence to be re-adjusted? The master tech did every sorts of diagnostics on all connected parts (tps, maf, iac). $100-200 all era I resign yourself to it pull off the dealer for diagnostics.. upon going problems are truly supplement up. I m undecided to be adjacent to the tps if he had it dialed. Any insight? Thanks in advance. Jason

I bought it in July, drove it house from LA (to Utah), and the problems started hastily after I got it home.Any new incite you can manage to pay for is appreciated. I don't know what else to do but consent it back up to the dealer. I know I've got the shop foreman operational upon it at the dealer, but I nevertheless mood its pushed to the urge on as its obsolete and everyone loses in this situation.

past I begin the car, the engine surges in the works amongst 1200 and 2000 rpm encourage and forth. I changed the IAC and the TPS as soon as no alter in symptoms. I have noticed that several Lexus SC's have this thesame issue. Prior to this I would have to acclimatize the idle eagerness screw to demean the rpm and it would support for a while. Now, the engine is forever surging to the tapering off where I cannot steer it for buzzer of broken to the steer train. Any experienced solution?
