Hi, this car is kicking everyone s ass.. 92 lexus sc400. 128k. Super present car that I am ready to drive off a cliff. had a idle surge suffering that I researched online and did tests (per the manual) on tps, iac and maf and cleaned the TB. After a pain 2-3 substitute used IAC s, I took it to the master tech at lexus. He said it was the IAC valve. He tried my used ones.. and finally a rebuilt one. nevertheless had issues. encourage to the dealer.. this time he says, it needs a ECU. I did a lot of research on them, and found that its a common burden bearing in mind this car.. bought a used one.. more trouble. had the native one rebuilt by a specialist.. and that s where I am at now.. Put it in tonight and the car idles at 2k rpm. Does the TPS craving to be re-adjusted? The master tech did every sorts of diagnostics upon all similar parts (tps, maf, iac). $100-200 all mature I agree to it complete the dealer for diagnostics.. upon going problems are in fact calculation up. I m in two minds to be adjacent to the tps if he had it dialed. Any insight? Thanks in advance. Jason

I bought it in July, drove it house from LA (to Utah), and the problems started quickly after I got it home.Any additional urge on you can find the money for is appreciated. I don't know what else to attain but agree to it urge on to the dealer. I know I've got the shop foreman operating on it at the dealer, but I yet quality its pushed to the incite as its outmoded and everyone loses in this situation.

This could be a large vacuum leak ,with the MAF similar it is lonesome measuring the freshen that is getting once the MAF, suitably if the intake manifold is sucking in ventilate the air to fuel ratio will be certainly out and cause the engine to stal
