Hi, this car is kicking everyone s ass.. 92 lexus sc400. 128k. Super shout out car that I am ready to drive off a cliff. had a idle surge problem that I researched online and did tests (per the manual) upon tps, iac and maf and cleaned the TB. After grating 2-3 alternative used IAC s, I took it to the master tech at lexus. He said it was the IAC valve. He tried my used ones.. and finally a rebuilt one. nevertheless had issues. back to the dealer.. this time he says, it needs a ECU. I did a lot of research on them, and found that its a common pain considering this car.. bought a used one.. more trouble. had the indigenous one rebuilt by a specialist.. and that s where I am at now.. Put it in tonight and the car idles at 2k rpm. Does the TPS compulsion to be re-adjusted? The master tech did every sorts of diagnostics upon every joined parts (tps, maf, iac). $100-200 every time I admit it accomplish the dealer for diagnostics.. upon going problems are truly tally up. I m of two minds to be adjacent to the tps if he had it dialed. Any insight? Thanks in advance. Jason

I bought it in July, drove it house from LA (to Utah), and the problems started hastily after I got it home.Any additional help you can come up with the money for is appreciated. I don't know what else to do but agree to it help to the dealer. I know I've got the shop foreman in force on it at the dealer, but I still atmosphere its pushed to the help as its outdated and everyone loses in this situation.

Does the engine run following the MAF disconnected. considering the noisy hissing hermetically sealed this could be your problem. This could be a large vacuum leak ,with the MAF amalgamated it is on your own measuring the freshen that is getting later than the MAF, consequently if the intake manifold is sucking in ventilate the ventilate to fuel ratio will be agreed out and cause the engine to stal
