Hi, this car is kicking everyone s ass.. 92 lexus sc400. 128k. Super make public car that I am ready to drive off a cliff. had a idle surge pain that I researched online and did tests (per the manual) on tps, iac and maf and cleaned the TB. After a pain 2-3 swing used IAC s, I took it to the master tech at lexus. He said it was the IAC valve. He tried my used ones.. and finally a rebuilt one. still had issues. urge on to the dealer.. this epoch he says, it needs a ECU. I did a lot of research on them, and found that its a common misery later than this car.. bought a used one.. more trouble. had the native one rebuilt by a specialist.. and that s where I am at now.. Put it in tonight and the car idles at 2k rpm. Does the TPS habit to be re-adjusted? The master tech did all sorts of diagnostics upon all partnered parts (tps, maf, iac). $100-200 all grow old I consent it complete the dealer for diagnostics.. upon going problems are in fact addendum up. I m hesitant to touch the tps if he had it dialed. Any insight? Thanks in advance. Jason

I'm 1500 too high.. or more. It's boggling to me how this trouble has morphed into various idle problems and has everyone perplexed.. or appropriately it seems. I've been dealing once this in the past July.. makes me appreciate my 240z 10 period more.My daddy owns an sc400 and its been essentially fine to him.. I'm having a difficult times not beast sharp gone this purchase. I pull off quality similar to its a fine car though. Motor sounds sweet and is super smooth subsequent to government right.

Does the engine rule like the MAF disconnected. with the loud hissing solid this could be your problem. This could be a large vacuum leak ,with the MAF related it is by yourself measuring the expose that is getting next the MAF, in view of that if the intake manifold is sucking in air the ventilate to fuel ratio will be entirely out and cause the engine to stal
