Hi, this car is kicking everyone s ass.. 92 lexus sc400. 128k. Super announce car that I am ready to steer off a cliff. had a idle surge misfortune that I researched online and did tests (per the manual) on tps, iac and maf and cleaned the TB. After aggravating 2-3 alternative used IAC s, I took it to the master tech at lexus. He said it was the IAC valve. He tried my used ones.. and finally a rebuilt one. yet had issues. back to the dealer.. this epoch he says, it needs a ECU. I did a lot of research on them, and found that its a common problem in imitation of this car.. bought a used one.. more trouble. had the original one rebuilt by a specialist.. and that s where I am at now.. Put it in tonight and the car idles at 2k rpm. Does the TPS dependence to be re-adjusted? The master tech did every sorts of diagnostics upon all amalgamated parts (tps, maf, iac). $100-200 every become old I say you will it attain the dealer for diagnostics.. upon going problems are really surcharge up. I m hesitant to be next to the tps if he had it dialed. Any insight? Thanks in advance. Jason

I'm 1500 too high.. or more. It's boggling to me how this misfortune has morphed into various idle problems and has everyone perplexed.. or hence it seems. I've been dealing in imitation of this in the past July.. makes me appreciate my 240z 10 become old more.My father owns an sc400 and its been really fine to him.. I'm having a difficult grow old not brute acid past this purchase. I complete setting like its a fine car though. Motor sounds cute and is super serene as soon as running right.

I don't have any check engine lights unless I unplug the MAF sensor. in the same way as the MAF is plugged in subsequently the car will stall unless I put my foot on the accelerator. There is then an intermittent popping unquestionable coming at idle.
