Hi, this car is kicking everyone s ass.. 92 lexus sc400. 128k. Super shout from the rooftops car that I am ready to steer off a cliff. had a idle surge pain that I researched online and did tests (per the manual) on tps, iac and maf and cleaned the TB. After bothersome 2-3 substitute used IAC s, I took it to the master tech at lexus. He said it was the IAC valve. He tried my used ones.. and finally a rebuilt one. yet had issues. back to the dealer.. this become old he says, it needs a ECU. I did a lot of research upon them, and found that its a common burden afterward this car.. bought a used one.. more trouble. had the indigenous one rebuilt by a specialist.. and that s where I am at now.. Put it in tonight and the car idles at 2k rpm. Does the TPS need to be re-adjusted? The master tech did every sorts of diagnostics upon every combined parts (tps, maf, iac). $100-200 all epoch I take on it do the dealer for diagnostics.. upon going problems are in reality count up. I m of two minds to lie alongside the tps if he had it dialed. Any insight? Thanks in advance. Jason

I'm 1500 too high.. or more. It's boggling to me how this hardship has morphed into various idle problems and has everyone perplexed.. or appropriately it seems. I've been dealing past this since July.. makes me appreciate my 240z 10 period more.My daddy owns an sc400 and its been essentially fine to him.. I'm having a difficult era not living thing pointed subsequently this purchase. I do character taking into account its a good car though.
