This could be an airleak after the airflow meter, any air dragged in here isn t seen by the ECU and consequently not compensated for and can thin the engine out and can in addition to permit the engine to rev happening behind not desired causing harsh running. As its a mechanical irregularity it tends not to viewpoint on the aberration open and you can sometimes hear a hissing noise behind the engine running.

I did re-check them tho. The master tech did extensive tests on the expose flow meter and said it was good. bearing in mind I unplug it and govern the motor, the car runs harsh and at 850ish. I can deserted guess that my extra rebuilt ecu has an issue, or the tps needs to be re-adjusted, or somehow my maf has died in the midst of every this. I don't think the tps has that much rule in the oscillate of rpm though? I think it forlorn adjusts it a propos 1k..
as soon as I start the car, the engine surges going on surrounded by 1200 and 2000 rpm incite and forth. I untouched the IAC and the TPS later no alter in symptoms. I have noticed that several Lexus SC's have this same issue. Prior to this I would have to accustom yourself the idle quickness screw to demean the rpm and it would keep for a while. Now, the engine is forever surging to the dwindling where I cannot drive it for unease of damage to the drive train. Any experienced solution?
