Hi, this car is kicking everyone s ass.. 92 lexus sc400. 128k. Super publicize car that I am ready to steer off a cliff. had a idle surge problem that I researched online and did tests (per the manual) upon tps, iac and maf and cleaned the TB. After aggravating 2-3 exchange used IAC s, I took it to the master tech at lexus. He said it was the IAC valve. He tried my used ones.. and finally a rebuilt one. yet had issues. put up to to the dealer.. this period he says, it needs a ECU. I did a lot of research on them, and found that its a common misfortune subsequent to this car.. bought a used one.. more trouble. had the native one rebuilt by a specialist.. and that s where I am at now.. Put it in tonight and the car idles at 2k rpm. Does the TPS craving to be re-adjusted? The master tech did every sorts of diagnostics on all partnered parts (tps, maf, iac). $100-200 every times I allow it do the dealer for diagnostics.. on going problems are in point of fact tallying up. I m hesitant to be adjacent to the tps if he had it dialed. Any insight? Thanks in advance. Jason

I'm 1500 too high.. or more. It's boggling to me how this hardship has morphed into various idle problems and has everyone perplexed.. or therefore it seems. I've been dealing once this back July.. makes me appreciate my 240z 10 time more.My daddy owns an sc400 and its been essentially good to him.. I'm having a difficult era not living thing acid in the manner of this purchase. I realize environment in the manner of its a good car though. Motor sounds endearing and is super serene taking into account doling out right.
I don't have any check engine lights unless I unplug the MAF sensor. taking into account the MAF is plugged in next the car will stall unless I put my foot on the accelerator. There is then an intermittent popping sealed coming at idle.
