Hi, this car is kicking everyone s ass.. 92 lexus sc400. 128k. Super announce car that I am ready to drive off a cliff. had a idle surge difficulty that I researched online and did tests (per the manual) upon tps, iac and maf and cleaned the TB. After irritating 2-3 every second used IAC s, I took it to the master tech at lexus. He said it was the IAC valve. He tried my used ones.. and finally a rebuilt one. yet had issues. assist to the dealer.. this get older he says, it needs a ECU. I did a lot of research on them, and found that its a common trouble with this car.. bought a used one.. more trouble. had the indigenous one rebuilt by a specialist.. and that s where I am at now.. Put it in tonight and the car idles at 2k rpm. Does the TPS obsession to be re-adjusted? The master tech did every sorts of diagnostics upon all related parts (tps, maf, iac). $100-200 every become old I allow it attain the dealer for diagnostics.. on going problems are really extra up. I m undecided to be adjacent to the tps if he had it dialed. Any insight? Thanks in advance. Jason

I bought it in July, drove it house from LA (to Utah), and the problems started rapidly after I got it home.Any extra back up you can find the money for is appreciated. I don't know what else to get but assume it encourage to the dealer. I know I've got the shop foreman operational on it at the dealer, but I yet vibes its pushed to the urge on as its outdated and everyone loses in this situation.

I don't have any check engine lights unless I unplug the MAF sensor. in imitation of the MAF is plugged in subsequently the car will stall unless I put my foot upon the accelerator. There is next an intermittent popping unquestionable coming at idle.
