Hi, this car is kicking everyone s ass.. 92 lexus sc400. 128k. Super make known car that I am ready to steer off a cliff. had a idle surge hardship that I researched online and did tests (per the manual) on tps, iac and maf and cleaned the TB. After a pain 2-3 rotate used IAC s, I took it to the master tech at lexus. He said it was the IAC valve. He tried my used ones.. and finally a rebuilt one. yet had issues. encourage to the dealer.. this era he says, it needs a ECU. I did a lot of research on them, and found that its a common trouble in the manner of this car.. bought a used one.. more trouble. had the native one rebuilt by a specialist.. and that s where I am at now.. Put it in tonight and the car idles at 2k rpm. Does the TPS compulsion to be re-adjusted? The master tech did all sorts of diagnostics on every partnered parts (tps, maf, iac). $100-200 all mature I resign yourself to it do the dealer for diagnostics.. on going problems are in reality add-on up. I m hesitant to adjoin the tps if he had it dialed. Any insight? Thanks in advance. Jason

I bought it in July, drove it house from LA (to Utah), and the problems started snappishly after I got it home.Any further encourage you can manage to pay for is appreciated. I don't know what else to attain but understand it back up to the dealer. I know I've got the shop foreman on the go upon it at the dealer, but I yet mood its pushed to the incite as its old and everyone loses in this situation.

I don't have any check engine lights unless I unplug the MAF sensor. in the same way as the MAF is plugged in subsequently the car will stall unless I put my foot upon the accelerator. There is also an intermittent popping unquestionable coming at idle.
