I have a 2004 ES330 subsequently a hestitation problem. It is fine from a full stop but subsequently I go almost turns on onto highway ramps, like I distress the accellarator (sp?) it hesitates for 2 seconds previously reving up. I ve taken it to a mechanic and he says it is normal. I have an 2003 Avalon behind the same engine and it jumps off the start and has no hesitation. Mechanic s Assistant: Will the headlights point of view on? Is the battery sufficiently charged? With or without headlights on. Relatively new battery. Mechanic s Assistant: What is the model of your 04 Lexus? ES330 Mechanic s Assistant: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried as a result far? I ve cleaned the MAF sensor. Checked for links in the intake. next I put my Turbo OBDII app on, all seems fine except that the TPS stays constant roughly speaking 30%. This is a drive-by-wire model hence it has not throttle cable or usual TPS. I believe the TPS is integrated later than the throttle controller/motor. Mechanic s Assistant: whatever else you want the mechanic to know back I affix you? No, I guess that is it.
.
I did re-check them tho. The master tech did extensive tests on the let breathe flow meter and said it was good. behind I unplug it and control the motor, the car runs aggressive and at 850ish. I can on your own guess that my new rebuilt ecu has an issue, or the tps needs to be re-adjusted, or somehow my maf has died in the midst of all this. I don't think the tps has that much govern in the interchange of rpm though? I think it unaccompanied adjusts it something like 1k..
I don't have any check engine lights unless I unplug the MAF sensor. behind the MAF is plugged in after that the car will stall unless I put my foot upon the accelerator. There is along with an intermittent popping hermetic coming at idle.
