I have a 2004 ES330 following a hestitation problem. It is fine from a full stop but in the same way as I go a propos turns upon onto highway ramps, in the manner of I afflict the accellarator (sp?) it hesitates for 2 seconds back reving up. I ve taken it to a mechanic and he says it is normal. I have an 2003 Avalon considering the same engine and it jumps off the start and has no hesitation. Thanks for your response. I just checked what you mentioned, that I hadn't already checked, except fuel pressure.Let me say you a tiny more roughly the problem history. It currently has a master tech official idle let breathe run valve and tps installed. without touching anything, the last (used) ecu and my original, would rule in the car without this symptom.

have you looked into throttle body coking and/or combustion chamber/valve carbon buildup? are you going on to date upon all maintenance; spark plugs fuel filter pcv vlave etc? have you performed a visual inspection and listened to engine as it warms going on and is warmed up? oftentimes in engine acquit yourself many factors may cause the similar symptom(s)
