Hi, this car is kicking everyone s ass.. 92 lexus sc400. 128k. Super puff car that I am ready to steer off a cliff. had a idle surge difficulty that I researched online and did tests (per the manual) upon tps, iac and maf and cleaned the TB. After aggravating 2-3 every other used IAC s, I took it to the master tech at lexus. He said it was the IAC valve. He tried my used ones.. and finally a rebuilt one. still had issues. back up to the dealer.. this get older he says, it needs a ECU. I did a lot of research upon them, and found that its a common trouble subsequently this car.. bought a used one.. more trouble. had the native one rebuilt by a specialist.. and that s where I am at now.. Put it in tonight and the car idles at 2k rpm. Does the TPS craving to be re-adjusted? The master tech did every sorts of diagnostics on every combined parts (tps, maf, iac). $100-200 all time I agree to it do the dealer for diagnostics.. upon going problems are essentially adding up. I m unsure to adjoin the tps if he had it dialed. Any insight? Thanks in advance. Jason

I'm 1500 too high.. or more. It's boggling to me how this pain has morphed into various idle problems and has everyone perplexed.. or consequently it seems. I've been dealing once this in the past July.. makes me appreciate my 240z 10 get older more.My dad owns an sc400 and its been truly fine to him.. I'm having a difficult times not instinctive pointed behind this purchase. I attain character once its a fine car though. Motor sounds delectable and is super mild subsequently running right.

I don't have any check engine lights unless I unplug the MAF sensor. later the MAF is plugged in subsequently the car will stall unless I put my foot on the accelerator. There is moreover an intermittent popping sealed coming at idle.
