This could be an airleak after the airflow meter, any air dragged in here isn t seen by the ECU and so not compensated for and can thin the engine out and can as a consequence allow the engine to rev occurring taking into account not desired causing rough running. As its a mechanical deformity it tends not to face on the deformity lively and you can sometimes hear a hissing noise afterward the engine running.
.

I did re-check them tho. The master tech did extensive tests on the let breathe flow meter and said it was good. like I unplug it and run the motor, the car runs rough and at 850ish. I can solitary guess that my new rebuilt ecu has an issue, or the tps needs to be re-adjusted, or anyhow my maf has died in the midst of all this. I don't think the tps has that much rule in the swap of rpm though? I think it only adjusts it regarding 1k..
taking into consideration I begin the car, the engine surges happening amongst 1200 and 2000 rpm help and forth. I tainted the IAC and the TPS taking into account no amend in symptoms. I have noticed that several Lexus SC's have this same issue. Prior to this I would have to adjust the idle enthusiasm screw to lower the rpm and it would support for a while. Now, the engine is permanently surging to the narrowing where I cannot steer it for distress of damage to the steer train. Any experienced solution?
