Hi, this car is kicking everyone s ass.. 92 lexus sc400. 128k. Super spread around car that I am ready to drive off a cliff. had a idle surge hardship that I researched online and did tests (per the manual) upon tps, iac and maf and cleaned the TB. After maddening 2-3 alternating used IAC s, I took it to the master tech at lexus. He said it was the IAC valve. He tried my used ones.. and finally a rebuilt one. still had issues. back to the dealer.. this epoch he says, it needs a ECU. I did a lot of research upon them, and found that its a common burden once this car.. bought a used one.. more trouble. had the indigenous one rebuilt by a specialist.. and that s where I am at now.. Put it in tonight and the car idles at 2k rpm. Does the TPS dependence to be re-adjusted? The master tech did all sorts of diagnostics upon all aligned parts (tps, maf, iac). $100-200 all times I recognize it attain the dealer for diagnostics.. upon going problems are essentially additive up. I m in two minds to touch the tps if he had it dialed. Any insight? Thanks in advance. Jason

I'm 1500 too high.. or more. It's boggling to me how this burden has morphed into various idle problems and has everyone perplexed.. or as a result it seems. I've been dealing similar to this before July.. makes me appreciate my 240z 10 time more.My dad owns an sc400 and its been essentially good to him.. I'm having a difficult epoch not visceral bitter considering this purchase. I do character behind its a good car though. Motor sounds cute and is super smooth like doling out right.

Does the engine run behind the MAF disconnected. taking into consideration the noisy hissing unquestionable this could be your problem. This could be a large vacuum leak ,with the MAF partnered it is and no-one else measuring the freshen that is getting with the MAF, for that reason if the intake manifold is sucking in expose the let breathe to fuel ratio will be entirely out and cause the engine to stal
