Hi, this car is kicking everyone s ass.. 92 lexus sc400. 128k. Super make known car that I am ready to drive off a cliff. had a idle surge difficulty that I researched online and did tests (per the manual) on tps, iac and maf and cleaned the TB. After a pain 2-3 alternating used IAC s, I took it to the master tech at lexus. He said it was the IAC valve. He tried my used ones.. and finally a rebuilt one. nevertheless had issues. assist to the dealer.. this time he says, it needs a ECU. I did a lot of research on them, and found that its a common suffering later than this car.. bought a used one.. more trouble. had the native one rebuilt by a specialist.. and that s where I am at now.. Put it in tonight and the car idles at 2k rpm. Does the TPS infatuation to be re-adjusted? The master tech did all sorts of diagnostics upon all associated parts (tps, maf, iac). $100-200 every get older I receive it do the dealer for diagnostics.. upon going problems are truly surcharge up. I m of two minds to touch the tps if he had it dialed. Any insight? Thanks in advance. Jason

I'm 1500 too high.. or more. It's boggling to me how this misery has morphed into various idle problems and has everyone perplexed.. or in view of that it seems. I've been dealing subsequent to this previously July.. makes me appreciate my 240z 10 era more.My dad owns an sc400 and its been essentially fine to him.. I'm having a difficult times not subconscious prickly in imitation of this purchase. I reach environment considering its a good car though. have you looked into throttle body coking and/or combustion chamber/valve carbon buildup? are you going on to date upon all maintenance; spark plugs fuel filter pcv vlave etc? have you performed a visual inspection and listened to engine as it warms going on and is warmed up? oftentimes in engine discharge duty many factors may cause the same symptom(s)
