I have a 2004 ES330 taking into account a hestitation problem. It is good from a full end but next I go roughly speaking turns on onto highway ramps, when I pain the accellarator (sp?) it hesitates for 2 seconds in the past reving up. I ve taken it to a mechanic and he says it is normal. I have an 2003 Avalon with the same engine and it jumps off the begin and has no hesitation. Mechanic s Assistant: Will the headlights twist on? Is the battery sufficiently charged? With or without headlights on. Relatively extra battery. Mechanic s Assistant: What is the model of your 04 Lexus? ES330 Mechanic s Assistant: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried thus far? I ve cleaned the MAF sensor. Checked for associates in the intake. past I put my Turbo OBDII app on, all seems fine except that the TPS stays constant on the order of 30%. This is a drive-by-wire model for that reason it has not throttle cable or normal TPS. I recognize the TPS is integrated similar to the throttle controller/motor. Mechanic s Assistant: everything else you desire the mechanic to know in the past I connect you? No, I guess that is it.

I did re-check them tho. The master tech did extensive tests upon the expose flow meter and said it was good. bearing in mind I unplug it and run the motor, the car runs gruff and at 850ish. I can without help guess that my other rebuilt ecu has an issue, or the tps needs to be re-adjusted, or someway my maf has died in the midst of all this. I don't think the tps has that much govern in the alternative of rpm though? I think it abandoned adjusts it something like 1k..
This could be a large vacuum leak ,with the MAF aligned it is and no-one else measuring the freshen that is getting as soon as the MAF, hence if the intake manifold is sucking in freshen the expose to fuel ratio will be unconditionally out and cause the engine to stall. If MAF is disconnected the engine goes into a limp measurement and lets the engine run. in imitation of carb cleaner spray spray can in the place of the hissing with the engine handing out and later you hear the engine stall or rev forward-looking there is the leak ,could be a bad vacuum hose bad gasket on the manifold.
