Hi, this car is kicking everyone s ass.. 92 lexus sc400. 128k. Super present car that I am ready to drive off a cliff. had a idle surge hardship that I researched online and did tests (per the manual) on tps, iac and maf and cleaned the TB. After irritating 2-3 substitute used IAC s, I took it to the master tech at lexus. He said it was the IAC valve. He tried my used ones.. and finally a rebuilt one. still had issues. encourage to the dealer.. this grow old he says, it needs a ECU. I did a lot of research on them, and found that its a common trouble gone this car.. bought a used one.. more trouble. had the original one rebuilt by a specialist.. and that s where I am at now.. Put it in tonight and the car idles at 2k rpm. Does the TPS need to be re-adjusted? The master tech did every sorts of diagnostics on all similar parts (tps, maf, iac). $100-200 all mature I recognize it get the dealer for diagnostics.. upon going problems are in reality adjunct up. I m undecided to be adjacent to the tps if he had it dialed. Any insight? Thanks in advance. Jason

I bought it in July, drove it house from LA (to Utah), and the problems started rapidly after I got it home.Any further back you can pay for is appreciated. I don't know what else to do but admit it back to the dealer. I know I've got the shop foreman in action on it at the dealer, but I yet character its pushed to the help as its obsolescent and everyone loses in this situation.
I don't have any check engine lights unless I unplug the MAF sensor. subsequently the MAF is plugged in then the car will stall unless I put my foot on the accelerator. There is with an intermittent popping hermetically sealed coming at idle.
