Hi, this car is kicking everyone s ass.. 92 lexus sc400. 128k. Super push car that I am ready to drive off a cliff. had a idle surge hardship that I researched online and did tests (per the manual) upon tps, iac and maf and cleaned the TB. After infuriating 2-3 swap used IAC s, I took it to the master tech at lexus. He said it was the IAC valve. He tried my used ones.. and finally a rebuilt one. nevertheless had issues. back to the dealer.. this epoch he says, it needs a ECU. I did a lot of research upon them, and found that its a common misery as soon as this car.. bought a used one.. more trouble. had the original one rebuilt by a specialist.. and that s where I am at now.. Put it in tonight and the car idles at 2k rpm. Does the TPS need to be re-adjusted? The master tech did all sorts of diagnostics upon every linked parts (tps, maf, iac). $100-200 all grow old I take on it attain the dealer for diagnostics.. on going problems are essentially adding together up. I m hesitant to adjoin the tps if he had it dialed. Any insight? Thanks in advance. Jason

I'm 1500 too high.. or more. It's boggling to me how this problem has morphed into various idle problems and has everyone perplexed.. or consequently it seems. I've been dealing afterward this past July.. makes me appreciate my 240z 10 mature more.My father owns an sc400 and its been in point of fact fine to him.. I don't have any check engine lights unless I unplug the MAF sensor. when the MAF is plugged in subsequently the car will stall unless I put my foot on the accelerator. There is plus an intermittent popping solid coming at idle.
