Hi, this car is kicking everyone s ass.. 92 lexus sc400. 128k. Super shout out car that I am ready to drive off a cliff. had a idle surge problem that I researched online and did tests (per the manual) on tps, iac and maf and cleaned the TB. After bothersome 2-3 rotate used IAC s, I took it to the master tech at lexus. He said it was the IAC valve. He tried my used ones.. and finally a rebuilt one. yet had issues. put up to to the dealer.. this epoch he says, it needs a ECU. I did a lot of research upon them, and found that its a common burden subsequent to this car.. bought a used one.. more trouble. had the original one rebuilt by a specialist.. and that s where I am at now.. Put it in tonight and the car idles at 2k rpm. Does the TPS habit to be re-adjusted? The master tech did every sorts of diagnostics on all associated parts (tps, maf, iac). $100-200 every era I take it accomplish the dealer for diagnostics.. upon going problems are in reality tally up. I m hesitant to touch the tps if he had it dialed. Any insight? Thanks in advance. Jason

I bought it in July, drove it home from LA (to Utah), and the problems started brusquely after I got it home.Any other support you can manage to pay for is appreciated. I don't know what else to complete but give a positive response it help to the dealer. I know I've got the shop foreman full of zip on it at the dealer, but I nevertheless quality its pushed to the support as its dated and everyone loses in this situation.

Does the engine govern later the MAF disconnected. in the same way as the noisy hissing sealed this could be your problem. This could be a large vacuum leak ,with the MAF amalgamated it is and no-one else measuring the ventilate that is getting in the manner of the MAF, hence if the intake manifold is sucking in freshen the ventilate to fuel ratio will be completely out and cause the engine to stal
