I started the car in the works this morning, it starts up and runs at 1750 and within a minute or so climbs greater than 2500.. This could be a large vacuum leak ,with the MAF aligned it is abandoned measuring the freshen that is getting once the MAF, suitably if the intake manifold is sucking in expose the ventilate to fuel ratio will be totally out and cause the engine to stall. If MAF is disconnected the engine goes into a limp measurement and lets the engine run. in the manner of carb cleaner spray spray in the place of the hissing in imitation of the engine supervision and later you hear the engine stall or rev well ahead there is the leak ,could be a bad vacuum hose bad gasket upon the manifold.
