Hi, this car is kicking everyone s ass.. 92 lexus sc400. 128k. Super make public car that I am ready to steer off a cliff. had a idle surge misery that I researched online and did tests (per the manual) upon tps, iac and maf and cleaned the TB. After bothersome 2-3 interchange used IAC s, I took it to the master tech at lexus. He said it was the IAC valve. He tried my used ones.. and finally a rebuilt one. still had issues. encourage to the dealer.. this mature he says, it needs a ECU. I did a lot of research upon them, and found that its a common suffering when this car.. bought a used one.. more trouble. had the original one rebuilt by a specialist.. and that s where I am at now.. Put it in tonight and the car idles at 2k rpm. Does the TPS infatuation to be re-adjusted? The master tech did every sorts of diagnostics on every related parts (tps, maf, iac). $100-200 every period I recognize it get the dealer for diagnostics.. upon going problems are in reality adjunct up. I m of two minds to adjoin the tps if he had it dialed. Any insight? Thanks in advance. Jason

I'm 1500 too high.. or more. It's boggling to me how this problem has morphed into various idle problems and has everyone perplexed.. or appropriately it seems. I've been dealing behind this in the past July.. makes me appreciate my 240z 10 grow old more.My dad owns an sc400 and its been really fine to him.. I'm having a hard become old not swine cutting taking into account this purchase. I complete environment in imitation of its a good car though. Motor sounds gorgeous and is super mild once presidency right.
I don't have any check engine lights unless I unplug the MAF sensor. in the same way as the MAF is plugged in subsequently the car will stall unless I put my foot on the accelerator. There is along with an intermittent popping unquestionable coming at idle.
