Hi, this car is kicking everyone s ass.. 92 lexus sc400. 128k. Super make known car that I am ready to steer off a cliff. had a idle surge suffering that I researched online and did tests (per the manual) on tps, iac and maf and cleaned the TB. After grating 2-3 rotate used IAC s, I took it to the master tech at lexus. He said it was the IAC valve. He tried my used ones.. and finally a rebuilt one. yet had issues. help to the dealer.. this become old he says, it needs a ECU. I did a lot of research on them, and found that its a common misfortune subsequent to this car.. bought a used one.. more trouble. had the native one rebuilt by a specialist.. and that s where I am at now.. Put it in tonight and the car idles at 2k rpm. Does the TPS dependence to be re-adjusted? The master tech did every sorts of diagnostics on every united parts (tps, maf, iac). $100-200 all become old I allow it attain the dealer for diagnostics.. on going problems are truly count up. I m unsure to be adjacent to the tps if he had it dialed. Any insight? Thanks in advance. Jason

I'm 1500 too high.. or more. It's boggling to me how this misery has morphed into various idle problems and has everyone perplexed.. or thus it seems. I've been dealing similar to this before July.. makes me appreciate my 240z 10 times more.My dad owns an sc400 and its been in point of fact good to him.. I'm having a hard epoch not monster mordant once this purchase. I attain vibes in the manner of its a fine car though. Motor sounds cute and is super smooth as soon as direction right.
I don't have any check engine lights unless I unplug the MAF sensor. in the manner of the MAF is plugged in later the car will stall unless I put my foot upon the accelerator. There is plus an intermittent popping hermetic coming at idle.
