Hi, this car is kicking everyone s ass.. 92 lexus sc400. 128k. Super puff car that I am ready to steer off a cliff. had a idle surge misery that I researched online and did tests (per the manual) on tps, iac and maf and cleaned the TB. After trying 2-3 alternative used IAC s, I took it to the master tech at lexus. He said it was the IAC valve. He tried my used ones.. and finally a rebuilt one. nevertheless had issues. assist to the dealer.. this time he says, it needs a ECU. I did a lot of research on them, and found that its a common misfortune in the same way as this car.. bought a used one.. more trouble. had the native one rebuilt by a specialist.. and that s where I am at now.. Put it in tonight and the car idles at 2k rpm. Does the TPS craving to be re-adjusted? The master tech did every sorts of diagnostics upon every related parts (tps, maf, iac). $100-200 all mature I agree to it pull off the dealer for diagnostics.. on going problems are essentially adding up. I m hesitant to adjoin the tps if he had it dialed. Any insight? Thanks in advance. Jason
Hi Jamie- I am sorry to hear that you are having difficulty with your BWM's power door locks. I have enclosed a link that shows the location of the fuse box and legend of the fuses so you will know The other things that fuse has on it: horn, auxiliary water pump and a/c. The fuse amp is a 15. Someone at Auto Zone told me to try a 20amp in it, but they're not always smart about BMW's. Please let I had the same problem on my M3 when I replaced the battery the radio stopped working, I took it to the dealer and they turned it back on within 2 minutes .. they told me it needed to be reset. Someone told me that it was in the glove box but I didnt see anything that would disconnect anything. The alarm and the flashers are going off at the same time and it is not driveable. Open the trunk. Open the cover on the right side trim. Information on fuse types and locations are found in there. Hello there,I have a 325i 1987 and i want to know where is the fuse for the emergency lights.I've allready changed the electronic flasher turn signal, and the the emergency stop lights does not .
The main fuse box is located near the drivers side firewall under the hood. There is a second fuse box in the trunk on the passenger side quarter panel. Hope this helps! .

I did re-check them tho. The master tech did extensive tests upon the expose flow meter and said it was good. behind I unplug it and direct the motor, the car runs coarse and at 850ish. I can by yourself guess that my additional rebuilt ecu has an issue, or the tps needs to be re-adjusted, or somehow my maf has died in the midst of every this. I don't think the tps has that much run in the interchange of rpm though? I think it on your own adjusts it in this area 1k..
This could be a large vacuum leak ,with the MAF united it is on your own measuring the expose that is getting as soon as the MAF, correspondingly if the intake manifold is sucking in air the ventilate to fuel ratio will be certainly out and cause the engine to stall. If MAF is disconnected the engine goes into a limp measurement and lets the engine run. similar to carb cleaner vaporizer spray in the area of the hissing subsequent to the engine meting out and later you listen the engine stall or rev higher there is the leak ,could be a bad vacuum hose bad gasket on the manifold.
