Hi, this car is kicking everyone s ass.. 92 lexus sc400. 128k. Super promote car that I am ready to drive off a cliff. had a idle surge hardship that I researched online and did tests (per the manual) on tps, iac and maf and cleaned the TB. After maddening 2-3 substitute used IAC s, I took it to the master tech at lexus. He said it was the IAC valve. He tried my used ones.. and finally a rebuilt one. still had issues. help to the dealer.. this become old he says, it needs a ECU. I did a lot of research upon them, and found that its a common misery gone this car.. bought a used one.. more trouble. had the native one rebuilt by a specialist.. and that s where I am at now.. Put it in tonight and the car idles at 2k rpm. Does the TPS compulsion to be re-adjusted? The master tech did every sorts of diagnostics upon all joined parts (tps, maf, iac). $100-200 every mature I receive it reach the dealer for diagnostics.. upon going problems are in reality appendage up. I m in two minds to touch the tps if he had it dialed. Any insight? Thanks in advance. Jason

I'm 1500 too high.. or more. It's boggling to me how this difficulty has morphed into various idle problems and has everyone perplexed.. or correspondingly it seems. I've been dealing like this past July.. makes me appreciate my 240z 10 era more.My father owns an sc400 and its been essentially fine to him.. I'm having a hard era not mammal cutting following this purchase. I accomplish vibes bearing in mind its a fine car though. Motor sounds lovely and is super mild gone management right.

I don't have any check engine lights unless I unplug the MAF sensor. like the MAF is plugged in subsequently the car will stall unless I put my foot on the accelerator. There is then an intermittent popping solid coming at idle.
