This could be an airleak after the airflow meter, any air dragged in here isn t seen by the ECU and as a result not compensated for and can thin the engine out and can as well as allow the engine to rev up later than not desired causing harsh running. As its a mechanical oddity it tends not to tilt on the deformity open and you can sometimes hear a hissing noise next the engine running.

I did re-check them tho. The master tech did extensive tests on the let breathe flow meter and said it was good. later I unplug it and control the motor, the car runs harsh and at 850ish. I can lonely guess that my extra rebuilt ecu has an issue, or the tps needs to be re-adjusted, or anyhow my maf has died in the midst of every this. I don't think the tps has that much direct in the stand-in of rpm though? I think it forlorn adjusts it around 1k..
later I start the car, the engine surges occurring together with 1200 and 2000 rpm urge on and forth. I tainted the IAC and the TPS in the same way as no change in symptoms. I have noticed that several Lexus SC's have this same issue. Prior to this I would have to adjust the idle eagerness screw to subjugate the rpm and it would maintain for a while. Now, the engine is for eternity surging to the lessening where I cannot steer it for alarm bell of broken to the drive train. Any experienced solution?
